The Bible is no ordinary book. Also called the Word of God and Scripture, the Bible has no substitute or equal in learning about God. God Himself, the Holy Spirit, is there with you every time you read the Bible. God understands that reading the Bible can be intimidating and even frustrating when we read things that we don’t understand. That’s why we need God to help us as we read.
Find a Bible translation you feel comfortable with. You can compare the various translations online, visit a Christian bookstore or check them out from the library.
